FXLR Daily Roundup – 29th September 2009

An ok day until two late trades let us down.  -10 poips on the day, but some good interraction, even during this transitional week when Daps moves house and we are a bit up in the air.  We will be settled again next week with everyone back in the two offices and with all the trading screen set ups back working properly after shipment. A very quiet day today with no trade setups. The markets were range bound ahead of the announcement on US interest rates by the FOMC. During the Asian session the Euro and Aussie advanced to a 12 month high. However, European and New York trading saw the dollar stabilise before the news release. After the initial volatility the dollar does seem to be gaining strength across the board.

A nice day today, with many members doing far better than we did with the official calls, and we netted +73 pips with the averages used.  Nearly twice that if we took the half trades as the figures.  One member was in and out faster than a woodpecker’s neck once that Cable had broken that down trend early doors.  Well done guys. The room has a nice community now, with many posting what they are trading as they are taking them, which accompany our own trades too.

FXLR Daily Roundup – 18th September 2009

Some training done today was the highlight as we were caught on the trades we personally took, being stopped out on our -25 room stop, only to see them come good afterwards.  Variable stops will be coming in, we thinks, with the actual level posted in the room text.  Coming soon.  Some guys in the room took a few more with better results, posting their entries even before they took them.  Turning out well.  Good stuff, guys. This hasn’t been a good week, but we are confident of better next week and that the markets will start behaving again.
