A very choppy day. We were very unlucky on the Cable loss, which first went +17 pips into profit before pulling back and stopped us out at a -25 setting, touching a -30, moving back the correct way about +100 pips. Typical stop-checker, it seemed. Swissy was also chopped early for -3 pips as a precaution as it appeared to not have momentum and was stalling, but after consolidating it also moved ahead the correct way. We chopped early, but felt it is important to use this strategy in this environment with low liquidity causing choppy moves. Total: +9 pips on the day.

A strange day, really. It was fairly choppy during the morning session and we saw a breakdown in correlation between the pairs. The afternoon session saw the US Dollar gaining some strength, and at one point there was a quick move which provide some great breaks. The follow through produced many flag break opportunities. There were plenty of setups on offer in the afternoon. Total: +105 pips on the day.
